Chromeo’s “I Can’t Tell You Why (Eagles cover).” This is spot on and supremely entertaining, as an Eagles fan.
Klaxons’ “No Diggity (Blackstreet cover).” Here’s another great cover.
The Beach Boys’ “Wouldn’t It Be Nice (a capella)” Stunning.
Phoenix’s “1901.” It’s not new, by any means, but it’s never been featured here and the album is fantastic.
Sweet Tea’s “If I Were A Carpenter.” A bit of country-western for your cooling September evening.
Diamond Rings’ “All YR Songs.” Diamond Rings is Boy George-tastic. We’re not sure if that’s a good thing.
Circulatory System’s “Tiny Concerts.” While we’re on the topic of the Beatles (see below), here’s a spaced-out, would-be “Tomorrow Never Knows.”
